The SKDLC Multimodal Learning Program

Blended Learning Program

Blended Learning is twofold:

The student will physically attend classes on designated days, maybe twice or thrice a week; two (2) hours for Preschool, three (3) hours for Primary and four (4) hours for Intermediate. A definite daily class schedule shall be strictly followed.

The student will stay home and attend online classes for the rest of the school week; two (2) hours for Preschool, three (3) hours for Primary and four (4) hours for Intermediate. A definite daily class schedule shall be strictly followed.

This program offers a world of opportunity to complement the usual face-to-face classroom setup with something new, engaging and exciting online learning experience at home. The term “interaction” is referred here as an active learning strategy. Learners learn best when they are required to participate in the process actively, rather than simply reading a text or watching a video. It is always better to have learners do than watch. Learners will not only passively absorb information but somehow spur them to action: communicate, reflect, create, or put their new skills into practice.

Offers individualized instruction via Google Classroom with e-Resources

Google Classroom shall be utilized to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. Its primary purpose is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. Teachers are to monitor the progress for each student, and after being graded, teachers can return work along with comments.

Alongside, electronic resources shall be included in the google classroom which consist of data representing numbers, texts, graphics, images, maps, moving images, music, sounds, etc., and programs of instruction sets.

Full E-Learning Program

Unlike blended learning, the pure E-Learning Program shall be absolutely home-based. This means to say that learners will NOT PHYSICALLY ATTEND classes in School for the entire school year. However, the same curriculum and instructions shall be afforded those students who are registered in this program.

Learners will attend classes everyday, Mondays through Fridays; two (2) hours for Preschool, three (3) hours for Primary and four (4) hours for Intermediate. A definite daily class schedule shall be strictly followed.
